Sword Art Online's Alter Story (First Good/Bad Impressions)

Source 1

So basically to sum this is alternative story where we go with the saying "What if"

Summary: The story continues from the 75th floor where they defeat the final boss. Kirito duels Healthcliff and kills him. With the Game Master defeated; they are still stuck in Sao without the "log out" option appearing. With Healthcliff defeated and no other information how to get out... there was only one possible way in order to escape. Kirito with the help of everyone else must overcome the remaining 25 floors in order to escape. (Probably typo :Healthcliff" name but kinda lazy checking meh

My Good Impressions:

~I am glad they are continuing to finish the 76th floor to 100th since the SAO arc ends there in the original light novel. (Not going to count manga and anime since they are about the same as the LN anyways) *unless the anime version was altered...*

~Good news Yui is still in the story... somehow lol?

~Appearance of Lyfa (the plot twist)

~The art isn't bad at all hopefully gameplay is smooth.

Bad Impressions:

~Let me go back to one of the good impressions... Lyfa.... where the hell did she appear from lol?

There isn't really much bad impressions after watching this trailer depends on the alter story during game play. Sadly even if i were to play i could probably grasp the idea through the voice and how the storyline progresses. =( not japanese per-se

The game also appears to contain a original anime BD with it so look forward to it. Hopefully its not a filler....

Hayate no Gotoku! - Can't Take My Eyes Off You - First Half Review

Hayate no Gotoku! - Can't Take My Eyes Off You

Studio: ManGlobe
Adapted From: Manga
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Plot Summary: The story of Hayate Ayasaki working alongside with maid Maria at Nagi Sanzenin's mansion continues. One day, Nagi receives a phone call from "Area 51," inviting her to the universe. Nagi wants to accept the offer, only to be stopped by Maria.

My Review: I didn't actually have time to properly give review but its about the same with the "Personal Opinion" so whats the point of this one -.-; dunno too much thinking so accept this with love.

Art Style and Visual Effects:

If i were to compare the First / Second Season of this anime i would probably say it has improved through the years. There isn't really a difference since this is a comedy "romance" anime based so ill just keep moving. The art has really improved if you look back...

The Visual Effects are one of the best for comedy animes since Hayate's strength is exaggerated to a point to knowing every skill from any other anime....except I'm not sure this anime contains much references compare its previous 2 seasons. There are still brief references still.... thats the highlight for this anime after all.

Not really a visual effect.... but cmon show some blood punching glass but theres your visual effect on the below image =p

Rating: 7.5/10

Story Setting:

Somehow the main plot has been lost within the comedy of this anime lol. There were some mentions about it so that main whole point and plot doesn't fall in hole completely. However still gets covered by good laughs. To be honest i don't really know what would be the difference from the original series of season 1/2 to this one since they've said its a different story. If you compare that manga where its current chapter is to this anime... Pretty much the story of the anime skipped ahead of the manga temporary. Not only that the plot twist would be Nagi's "proclaimed" sister and Nagi's father as the key points of the anime.

The comedy still never fails me for a good couple of laughs but I'm still lost in the story.

There is really nothing to say but this one. You seen them in action through Season 1... towards Season 2 towards the Movie... to now. Except you have Yuka Iguchi as Ruri Tsugumi to bring more laughs. Well i can't find a good gif or pic of her in the first episode when starts flying off the bike at the end.... Deal with this one for the lol's

The Op song doesn't really catch my attention but it does fit the romantic comedy mood. The Ed song is probably implying something though its really catchy. I'm still curious what this character that appears in the anime suppose represent.

Rating: 9.5/10

Game/Manga/Light Novel:

Lets just simplify this. Read the manga may be random but there seems to be no end for now lol.

Manga

Rating: 9/10

Personal Opinion:

I've always thought about this in my head... how did i ever managed to keep up with this series lol? Well this series will be different compare to previous series seasons with a different plot. Dunno is there anything different yet besides some "mystery" behind certain events? They never got rid of their main genre "comedy" so its fine. Nothing much ill just watch until the end for my final thought of their new plot twist of an anime.

Need more isumi....wheres the cell phone chapter!

"Project" K "Anime Review (First Half)

I delayed this way too long... originally i was suppose to do a double feature after Btooom! With Hayate no Gotoku! - Can't Take Your Eyes Off review but i decided to do this one after i finished watching it. I'll make sure to do it after this one. So here's "K"

"Project" K (Anime)

Studio: GoHands
Adapted From: Manga
Genre: action, comedy, drama, fantasy, science fiction
Plot Summary: Ashinaka High School is known for its unique setting: the entire campus is built on an island. Yashiro Isana, aka Shiro, is having lunch with a cat on one of the school rooftops. After his lunch break, Shiro goes on an errand for his classmate Kukuri to prepare for their upcoming school festival, only to be chased by some intimidating-looking men.

My Review: I put this anime like on hold for awhile before i even got into watching it during the start. A couple of things: 1. i am glad i kept it on hold 2. i wasn't to keen on this anime at first but it did spark an interest. However did not read the manga, but its being picked up again so i might check it out.

Art Style and Visual Effects:

http://images6.fanpop.com/image/photos/32400000/k-Project-k-32414232-1600-501.jpg

The anime's art style doesn't seem to be bad. I didn't expect this anime to get somewhat fanservice for their main female character "Neko" at least that's her claimed name for the time.

Its pretty funny if you check ANN's info about "K(Tv) you can out their themes fit almost every single category and explains majority of their art style for this anime

Themes:
bishounen, catgirl, clans, fanservice, futuristic school, superpowers

Their visual effects on their "Superpower" for visual effects usually are like auras sometimes able to destroy stuff. In episode 2 you see alot of visual effects when it comes to "Neko's" illusions which were funny. There isn't much visual effects in the first couple of episodes but i do expect more in the upcoming ones.

Rating: 8.5/10

Story Setting:

The story seems off for me to grasp the idea what this anime and manga plot is. Even with ANN or wiki with a vague description of the plot....i still have no idea what the plot is really. I can only grasp that the plot involves:

"The Color Kings: Red,Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and i guess White" The White King (Colorless King) is depicted as the seventh king (ref to episode 2-3) to have killed someone who recorded his own death. Yashiro Isana, aka Shiro has lunch one day on the roof having a sense of trouble while taking a nap. He was later sent to get things for his classmate Kukuri to shop. He gets attack from HOMRA men.... he then gets saved by chance by a man with a sword but learns that he is going to be killed cause he looks similar to someone. Eventually Shiro escapes using made up story to get away and make it back to his dorm. After being lost in thought a mysterious girl appears in his bed next to him who names herself "Neko"

I would probably sum up the plot to that point...though it doesn't mean i know the whole story. The story pretty much starts confusing like most animes do. They show a "somewhat" action scene before heading towards the main story. Anyways ep 1 i found it blah until the somewhat end until it cuts off heading towards episode 2 with a cliffhanger. Ep 2 was pretty much had good comedy relief especially when it comes to "Neko's" Illusions and the mystery behind what she really is...

You can ignore the subtitles below the screenshot. Just wanted to a show one of the funny scenes for the episode. Really unexpected comedy.

The following episodes are pretty much more comedy until it eventually comes to a point of the truth at the end of episode 4.

Can you keep up?
The story settings is really hard to depict but mainly you have to think about the keyword "Kings" i guess

Rating: 8/10

Voice Acting / Music:

Daisuke Namikawa as Yashiro Isana
Daisuke Ono as Kuroh Yatogami
Jun Fukuyama as Misaki Yata
Kenjiro Tsuda as Mikoto Suoh
Mamoru Miyano as Saruhiko Fushimi
Miyuki Sawashiro as Seri Awashima
Satomi Satou as Kukuri Yukizome
Takahiro Sakurai as Izumo Kusanagi
Tomokazu Sugita as Reisi Munakata
Yui Horie as Anna Kushina
Yūichi Nakamura as Rikio Kamamoto
Yuuki Kaji as Tatara Totsuka

Eh, now that i think about it..... I was way into the comedy of the anime i didn't realize the voices for this anime....pretty interesting comboination i am seeing though.

Opening Theme:
"KINGS" by Angela
Ending Theme:
"Tsumetai Hiya, Hitori" (冷たい部屋、一人) by Mikako Komatsu
Insert song:
"Itsuka no Zero Kara" (いつかのゼロから) by Angela (ep 2)

The music in this anime aren't that bad. It goes me curious how the battle music will sound on the upcoming episodes. The music is roundabout has some hip-hop/jazz like tune so its not bad at all.

Rating: 9/10

Game/Manga/Light Novel:

I didn't start on the manga yet to be honest but by the looks its called "K - Memory of Red" this is more like prologue before the anime begins. Only 5 chapters have been translated and its kinda slow

This is pretty much spoilers but you could avoid not looking at it....somehow...

The main point about showing this is the brief summary below that shows a vague description of the characters.

Rating: 8/10

Personal Opinion:

I should just get to the point rather then state the same thing i always say in new animes i watch the first time. When this was first mention i didn't know what this was due to lack of information finding what the heck it was called besides "K". Until they announced and showed promos what the anime is: which has bishounen guys with swords, a neko type girl, super natural aura powers, and clan (gangs). Didn't like at first cause had to many guy characters and pretty much if you look up images or check blog sites.... this would be listed having yaoi involved.... i already seen a couple while looking for decent images for this review.....

Without thinking about the yaoi...*ahem* This seems like an anime worth the time to watch being action with some decent scenes, drama..... some twist with involving "kings", comedy which you'll see alot, fantasy.... already beyond expectation....neko, sci-fi.... advance tech.... even robots that can clean without you lifting a finger!?

Btooom! First Half Review

Throwing a double feature in a bit might as well get in before then. Lacking sleep.... feeling tired.... hungry.... just made me think of this anime. Moar games!

http://cdn.myanimelist.net/images/anime/4/40977.jpgBtooom!

Studio: Madhouse
Adapted From: Manga
Genre: Action, Romance
Plot Summary: Ryōta Sakamoto is an unemployed 22-year-old who lives with his mother. In the real world, there may be nothing really special about him, but online, he's one of the world's top players of the combat game called Btooom!.
One day, he awakes in what appears to be a tropical island, though he has no memory of how or why he has come to be there. While wandering around, Ryōta sees someone and calls out for help. The stranger responds by throwing a bomb at him! Now Ryōta realizes both that his life is in danger and that he has somehow been trapped in a real-life version of his favorite game! Will Ryōta be able to survive long enough to figure out how and why he ended up here?

My Review: I gave this one a gamble not knowing about the manga itself. It was mentioned through some of my online friends about it and i gave it a shot to watch. The first episode wasn't really that bad however felt like it dragged on for a bit; however it was the first episode. After the first episode it did give me a interest in the manga so i checked it out. And it got me interested though it was sad they stopped translation process BUT never fear it was picked up again without no fear of english licensing. Lets continue on...

Art Style and Visual Effects:

http://www.animeout.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/animepaper.netpicture-standard-anime-btooom-btooom-picture-242999-suemura-preview-70c7a998-600x411.jpg

You can tell this is "Madhouse" style of art. Not a big fan of company much but they are one of the few anime studios that actually put "blood" compare to other anime studios where it gets heavily edited or changed until the dvd/blu-ray is released for an unedited version. Also Madhouse secondary main feature is their choice of anime to adapt where a lot of ppl tend to die.

Their artwork never seems to flatter they are "mad" Just like this anime

Rating: 9/10

Story Setting:

The Story where you play a real life game with the stakes of Life and Death on the line. Seems like a good thrill. The only problem when it comes to action animes; they usually drag for a long time depending how far story is (manga/LN) and how often the studio continues to delay. The manga doesn't seem to be long since the goal of the story is mainly to get off the island and survive. However it can continue into a spin off but lets leave that another day. Hopefully its not 12 episodes... but hard to tell since translations for the manga is up to 51 as of you since someone picked it up again. If you want to see blood and death might what to check this out.

Rating: 8/10

Voice Acting / Music:

Kanata Hongou as Ryōta Sakamoto
Suzuko Mimori as Himiko
Meijin Takanohashi as Takanohashi
Miyuki Sawashiro as Kōsuke Kira
Toru Ohkawa as Kiyoshi Taira
Yūichi Nakamura as Nobutaka Oda

Looks like Kanata Hongou is new to the anime industry. I dont really much complains about the current main voices of this anime. The music inserts for the anime sound good too bad only appears during a battle but i can expect 1-2 music inserts from now on.

Op and Ed are not bad

Opening Theme:
"No Pain, No Game" by Nano
Ending Theme:
"Aozora (Blue Skies)" by May'n

^You can be his guy^ "Lets play a game."

Rating: 7/10

Game/Manga/Light Novel:

I highly recommend reading the manga Btooom Manga if you need an idea on the story. I kinda skimmed the Manga at the moment but ill read from first to last when i get the chance to do it. I got pretty excited that a translator group picked up the manga again since the previous translator group dropped it due to English Licensing and they are really picky on it but i won't complain since they do most of the translation which i could understand at least. Note: If you read the manga you'll discover episode 2 of the anime appears around chapter 30 or so. Its like a special chapter i think.... but im going through memory.

Rating: 10/10

Personal Opinion:

Even though i have to read the manga it really did spark my interest to go further into this manga/anime. Usually there are very few action type manga/animes i like... lesson learn if you like(d) Bleach/Naruto etc. However i don't have a problem with them just too many fillers and story still never ending.

Remember this is only based on what i think... when it comes to the end will either be highly approved or a disappointment. Cause at this moment i'll feel disappointed if its only 12 episodes says "ANN' Btooom ANN

Rating: 10/10

Overall Ratting: 9/10

No power for almost 48 hrs.... with a bonus about Little Busters

As expected Hurricane Sandy takes away my power from Monday 8est until Thursday 12am Time. So it just about 48 hrs or more so 50 hrs without power. It was a real challenge without power cause .... 1 it was so cold .... 2 i was bored as hell... 3 all i did was sleep =/. I did manage to complete 100% MajiKoi S 100%. I will replay once its fully translated.

Anyways no dmg to my street but the rest of town was another story... I get some work done doing what i was doing unless i don't have rl work to deal with atm. Glad it didnt take till next monday to get power.

While i am at it.... If you read this article posted in ANN http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2012-10-31/little-busters-producer/anime-to-cover-everything-even-though-26-episodes-is-not-enough Pretty much they shoving all of heroines in 26 episodes. If you noticed at Episode 4 they are doing the Komari Arc. If you have played the game you can tell the difference cause when it comes to the Elder home scene. The game only had Riki and Komari mainly while the anime version has the current Little Busters helping also.

Well i did have a feeling they would go "Amagami" style if you watched the anime. Except like i said they are shoving as much as they can in 26 episodes. You cant really do "Amagami" Style episodes cause the episode count becomes odd. Komari, Haruka, Kurugiya, Kud, Mio, and finally Rin

Which is 6 Heroines. It couldve been possible with 4 episodes per character but thats really impossible since you have to cut a ton of stuff on it.... We'll see how they finish at least 1 or 2 arcs before i can't complain further.

Anyways thats it for now = ] Sorry no pictures or extra stuff cause i just got power back and its like 2am....
