Blogging just for the hell of it / Review on Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai

Since i got alot of free time and i feel bored looking at my usual daily sites for updates which probably only last an hour max before i get bored. So i decided to review my own opinions on anime ill watch for the season. I won't be picky so ill try to watch at least 2-3 episodes before giving my final review on the anime. Pretty much if i gave a review after one episode it'll just result being a bad. Well I am just doing this just to kill my boredom. So i will be reviewing the Fall Anime 2012 season; however i don't know if i want to review movies/oad/ova/etc just going overall.

Well before i continue dragging i might as well do one for the time being.

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!

Studio: Kyoto Animation
Adapted From: Light Novel
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Romance
Plot Summary: High school freshman Yūta Togashi was once a "chūnibyō patient" i.e. an overly self-conscious middle schooler. He and begins a new life in high school -- unsuccessfully. His classmate Rikka Takanashi, a "current" chūnibyō patient, has found traces of residual symptoms on him and used the fact to force Togashi "making a contract" with her.
My Review: Honestly i didn't think was a great pick at first when i saw an article on ANN to be done by Kyo Animations... that's at first but i was wrong. The reason i thought it wasn't a great pick by Kyo Animation cause i expected them to pick up "Little Busters!" at first since its a game done by KEY since they've done other titles by Key but you can't complain...well you can but better off not wasting your time. Sadly i wish i could read the Light Novel of this but there is none out and no translation.
Lets continue on....
Art Style and Visual Effects:
The Art of the characters are great as usual since its being done by Kyoto Animations. The Art Visual Effects is pretty awesome even though it seems exaggerated; however it is comedy/drama after all. Plus the story is mostly involves delusional scenes in the anime.
I see the "H" in you
Rating: 10/10
Story Setting:
Since this is comedy based the story can go anywhere to be honest except we got drama/romance involved in the genre so there is an actual plot! Its pretty funny how exaggerating the story is when it comes to the delusional scenes as if it were a real battle pretty much i had to face palmed at least once or twice during the delusional scenes...

Every time i see a delusional scene you just have to laugh or face palm how exaggerating the story is. Well without it then i guess it could be pretty bland. I guess without the comedy then there would probably be a dark twist plot involved.

With drama and comedy genre combine they form... DELUSION! So that sums of drama! The romance in the story so far is rarely hinted for the moment since its only been 3 episodes. However it is hinted episode 3 of some sort of affection at the end of episode 3. That's just my speculation anyways. The main male character is too obvious to miss. Overall the story seems interesting makes you think and wonder did you ever go through that stage thinking "you were a fantasy character that meant to save the world" but not really....good times back in the day.
so ill skip to my review rate

Rating: 3.3 for Comedy + 3.3 for Drama + 2.8 for Romance + .01 for plot twist = 9.5/10

Voice Acting / Music:
Jun Fukuyama as Yūta Togashi
Maaya Uchida as Rikka Takanashi
Azumi Asakura as Kumin Tsuyuri
Chinatsu Akasaki as Shinka Nibutani
Eri Sendai as Toka Takanashi
Kaori Fukuhara as Kuzuha Togashi
Kikuko Inoue as Nanase Tsukumo
Mami Shitara as Yumeha Togashi
Souichiro Hoshi as Makoto Isshiki
Sumire Uesaka as Sanae Dekomori
Yuri Amano as Yuuta's Mom
In the end with comedy you have to bring in the big guns: Jun Fukuyama. Not a bad voice actor when it
comes to comedy but at times his voice gets annoying when it comes to the exaggerating scenes where his character yells. I don't hate him but just when hes in character i guess meh.  Maaya Uchida playing the main female lead doesn't break down on her character since her character composed to a point where shes makes delusion a reality. Not only that shes make cute "ow" sound when hit with something.

Music usually goes with the setting of the story so its barely noticed in these types of animes unless it was like Key's visual novels where most of the characters or based on setting had their own theme music. I think the only music you'll probably hear is the OP/ED and Delusional battle music

Voice Acting Rating: 5/5
Music Rating: 3.5/5

Total up to 8.5/10
Game/Manga/Light Novel:
In a sense i can't really give a rating on this one. If i were reviewing for a game is pretty easy how to review / rate. But i guess i am doing my own style of rating. I could probably give a default 5 as rating since it was able to get an anime adaption since it seems unfair still
Rating: 5/10
Personal Opinion:
After watching Episodes 1-3 so far: it is an anime i think worth sticking for the fall season. Its too bad i can't grasp the whole story since its only 12 episodes besides ova/oad if they are included in the end of the season. And not able to read the light novel is also another thing since there is no translation done. Btw usually i skip the OP or ED of an anime but i took the time to watch it and found that the OP of anime can really make you get headache.

Rating: 9/10

Overall Rating: 8.5/10 Its not really a bad result to be honest still better if i could grasp the actual source Light Novel for this one especially to give a better score. Well this is only a personal review.
Would I Recommend watching the anime: Yes
Would I Recommend Reading the Light Novel: Yes because animation studios skip and leave out alot of details of the story.

Now here's your free Loli
